Queensland’s regional NRM organisations are committed to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Our regional NRM sector provides employment for more than 320 people across Queensland, many of them from rural and remote areas. Of these, nearly three percent identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Research Prospectus for natural resource management in Queensland
In 2020, NRM Regions Queensland, with its members, released a prospectus collating the research needs of the natural resource management sector across the state.
MOU between Queensland Water and Land Carers and NRM Regions Queensland
NRM Regions Queensland and Queensland Water and Land Carers have signed a memorandum of understanding to formalise principles of cooperation, data sharing and collaboration between the two organisations.
